Yahoo & Outlook are both giants in the email world. Yahoo Mail has tens of millions of users, and Outlook is the standard email program for businesses around the world. Consequently, the number of people who use both of them is also huge. It only makes sense to do what you can to make the two of them work together smoothly.

After You Configure Outlook for Yahoo Mail, Copy Your Yahoo Contacts Over

Once you configure Outlook for Yahoo Mail, you are halfway home. Being able to manage your Yahoo Mail through Outlook can simplify your life. But not if you have to manually copy all your Yahoo Mail contacts over to Outlook.

Highlight Messages from Your Yahoo Mail Account

If you want to make it really easy to tell which messages in your Inbox came from the Exchange server and which from your Yahoo account, you might want to learn how to highlight Outlook messages.

The idea here is that you could make messages from your Yahoo Mail account appear in a different font or color when you are looking at the Inbox Pane, thus making it easier to pick them out among all the messages you get each day.

My coworker told me about the pros and cons of using Outlook instead of Yahoo mail and she made me a believer of Outlook haha~ Connecting outlook let alone configuring outlook for yahoo is really difficult, but hopefully with the guides on this website, I’ll be able to get everything done with ease. I’m especially happy for the tutorial on copying contact from yahoo to outlook, I got about 200 very important contacts that need to be moved in order to make full use of Outlook.
